Information Resources
Below is a list of sites that I use nearly every day for information about LEGO sets, minifigures, promotional items, and parts. They are an excellent resource for every collector.
BrickLink is the leading marketplace for genuine LEGO products and contains an extensive catalog of every LEGO element and set you can think of. With an account, you can buy and sell LEGO elements and sets locally and internationally. You can also create Wanted Lists to keep track of ongoing projects, inventory, etc.
Brickset.com was launched in 1997 to keep track of the many promotional sets that were appearing at that time. Since then it has expanded considerably and is now the primary reference on LEGO sets on the internet.
Every story has a beginning, and ours started on September 8th, 2009 when LEGO launched the original incarnation of The Holo-Brick Archives to serve as a database of all the LEGO Star Wars sets ever made. The current (unofficial) version of The Holo-Brick Archives provides a full database of LEGO Star Wars sets, minifigures, books, multimedia and third-party products – as well as inventories and a means to keep your collections updated. It also collects – and shares – all the news of the LEGO Star Wars license from around the world.
The MiniFigs.nl database contains minifigs that are part of an official LEGO Star Wars Set, or that can be attributed to an official LEGO, LEGOLAND or LEGO Store program, activity, event or display.
