To promote the launch of the Yoda Chronicles cartoon series, LEGO ran a contest in the May / Jun 2013 issue of LEGO Club magazine. Contestants were asked to submit a picture of a LEGO model depicting what they thought would be unveiled at the launch party in Times Square on May 23, 2013. Three lucky Grand Prize winners received the Brick-Built NY I ♥ Yoda Statue modeled after the famous NY I ♥ Yoda minifig released in February at the NY Toy Fair.
This item is very rare (only three made). Since it is likely to be very hard to find, I am attempting to build a replica based on the video. Once I complete it, I will post it to my MOC Projects page.
To celebrate the new Cartoon Network series, "The Yoda Chronicles," The LEGO Group will be unveiling something huge in Times Square! Guess what it is and you might win!
Starting May 4th, build what you think we'll be unveiling, take a picture of it, and upload it to LEGO.com/yodachronicles. Three lucky Grand Prize winners will receive custom Yoda models and 20 first place winners will receive mystery prizes commemorating our event!
